Harvest festival, harvest jam bmx event

Don't Miss It! The Skate Park of Athens, located at SE Clarke Park, will host the 2nd annual Harvest Jam on Saturday, October 25 starting at noon. Harvest Jam will feature bike demonstrations by anyone who wants to show off their skills. There is no entry fee. Giveaways, prizes, and live music will be presented as well. Step Back in Time! The 36th Annual Harvest Festival is scheduled for Friday, October 24 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Lyndon House Arts Center and the Athens Area Community Council on Aging. This annual celebration of old time crafts and rural life gives participants of all ages a way to learn about some of Georgia’s history first hand. There will be over fifty live demonstrations of quilting, woodworking, spinning, weaving, and soap making.
