Bird Walk at Sandy Creek - Oct. 6

------------------

The Oconee Rivers Audubon Society will host a birdwalk this Saturday, October 6th, at 8:00AM at the Sandy Creek Park in Athens-Clarke County.

Sandy Creek Park will be waiving the $2.00 admission fee Saturday morning for those attending the birdwalk. If you stay to use the park afterwards you should pay the fee.

We will be meeting in the farthest parking lot on Campsite Drive across the dam. Please use the farthest parking lot as parking right near the camp sites is limited.

You can find a map of Sandy Creek Park at:

The walk will be 2 to 3 miles of moderate to easy walking. You should wear practical shoes and dress for the weather. If you have binoculars you should bring them.
